Come on a Sunday evening when the light is long and the island is quiet. Leave on a Friday carrying something you didn't arrive with. In between, five days of painting, wandering, music, good food, and the particular kind of knowing that only surfaces when you give it enough time and space.
This is Wondering Path Studio's first destination retreat, and it is designed for people who are ready to go all the way in.
What the week holds:
Four in-depth Intuition Painting® sessions — the full six-phase process across multiple days, with time between sessions to let what emerged settle, surface, and speak. This is not rushed. This is what the process looks like when it has room to breathe.
Time on the island — Ocracoke in late winter is quiet, wild, and beautiful. Weather permitting, we'll be outside. Walking the beach, moving our bodies, letting the salt air do what salt air does.
One evening of music —historically we have a jam session with local musicians and friends. Many factors influence this happening, so no guarantees, but if you play, bring your instrument, voice, listening ears. Share the particular joy of making sound together in a room full of people who have spent the week learning to follow rather than direct.
Meals together — breakfast and dinner provided, lunch on your own to explore the island at your own pace.
